Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Endocrinology is recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The role emphasizes clinical care, education of students, residents and fellows, and scholarly activity in a tertiary center.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology
• Strong commitment to education and teaching
• Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology)
• Exposure to a wide variety of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team, including Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES)
• Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs
• Emphasize a collegial environment with multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research
