Albany Medical College’s Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at Assistant/Associate Professor level to join our expanding academic faculty. The role encompasses the full spectrum of electrophysiology in a collaborative academic environment.

We are growing to 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers, with opportunities to advance education of fellows, residents, and providers, in a leading private medical school and flagship Capital Region hospital complex.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification/eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities for academic appointment

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations
• Ablation procedures and device implantations
• Collaborate with faculty across HF, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and imaging
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and APPs
