Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our academic faculty in the Division of Cardiology.

We are a growing team within Albany Med Health System, offering a comprehensive electrophysiology practice in a collaborative academic environment, including research and teaching opportunities for fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.
