Job summary

The Division of Cardiology at Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist as an Assistant or Associate Professor to join our growing academic faculty. This position offers the opportunity to practice the full spectrum of electrophysiology in a collaborative academic environment.

We are building a team of 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers to meet increasing demand in New York’s Capital Region and to support education and research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology or eligibility.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Academic appointment eligibility as Assistant or Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.
