The GW Writing Center, part of the University Writing Program (UWP) at GWU, offers courses to enhance students' writing skills. It provides free, peer-based support through one-on-one sessions, aiming to improve writing and editing skills. The Academic Department Administrator I reports to the UWP Administrative Supervisor and collaborates with the Writing Center Director to manage a staff of about fifty, including graduate and undergraduate consultants and front-office assistants.
High school diploma or GED plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field. Degree must be conferred by the start date. Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.
