The American Marketing Association offers an Academic Communities Internship that is fully remote and designed for students living in eligible states. You will support the Academic Communities team by managing SIG pages, assisting with budgets, and coordinating conference logistics for 2027 events.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in college, with customer service or volunteer management experience, and an interest in event or association management. Remote work up to 24 hours per week is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college/university.
• Customer service or volunteer management experience preferred.
• Interest in event management or association management beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and manage SIG webpages.
• Assist with SIG budget, payments, reimbursements, and invoices.
• Support planning for academic conferences and related events.
• Respond to attendee inquiries with the team.
• Help execute Conference and SIG awards processes.
• Assist with conference proceedings administration.
