Job summary

The University of Georgia seeks a Coordinator of Academic Coaching in Athens to lead the Academic Coaching program, partnering with faculty and campus units to strengthen undergraduate learning through peer coaching and active-learning practices.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Peer Education, you will recruit, train, and supervise student coaches, manage scheduling and resources, and advance program assessment while exploring AI-enabled tools to support onboarding and ongoing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
Experience implementing student-focused programs and workshops.
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and operate the Academic Coaching program across campuses.
Recruit, onboard, and supervise undergraduate Peer Academic Coaches.
Develop coaching training and professional development for coaches.
Monitor coach performance and ensure program standards and quality.
Maintain scheduling, training, and communication systems for scalable delivery.
Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to promote PLA recruitment and engagement.
Integrate AI-enabled tools to enhance onboarding and reflective practice.
