The Howard University’s Office of Undergraduate Studies is seeking an Academic Advisor to deliver integrated academic and career advising for a defined caseload of undergraduate students. You will support persistence, progression, and post-graduate outcomes through proactive outreach and data-informed practices.

Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to ensure timely degree completion, major exploration, and career readiness while maintaining compliant documentation in the student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in academic advising or student success.
• Equivalents of education and experience considered.

Responsabilités

• Deliver integrated academic and career advising to an assigned caseload of undergraduate students.
• Support persistence, progression, graduation, and post-graduate outcomes through proactive advising and data-informed outreach.
• Guide students in degree requirements, policies, registration, and academic standing.
• Assist with major exploration, career readiness, and institutional navigation.
• Collaborate with faculty and offices to support student success and timely graduation.
• Document interactions in the student information system and monitor progress.
