Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; two years of related work experience required (experience may substitute for degree).
• Two or more years’ experience in academic advising or student support preferred.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise students on academic requirements and course selection; help develop personalized education plans.
• Review and interpret placement test scores and prerequisites.
• Interpret FERPA rules for release of student information to faculty, parents, and students.
• Perform degree audits and monitor student registration activities; maintain accurate records.
• Refer students to financial aid, admissions, tutoring, and other services as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to support recruitment and enrollment growth initiatives.
• Stay informed about institutional changes, program updates, and deadlines.
