The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (I) or a Master’s in counseling or related field (II), with at least two years in higher education and strong communication and organizational skills.

The University Advising Center seeks an Academic Advisor I/II tojoin its dedicated team of professionals. We deliver high quality, student-centered, and culturally responsive support to students. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be tosupport the academic and professional development needs ofpre-health students from onboarding at New Student Orientation,through pre-requisite course planning and tracking, andprofessional school application preparation. Additionally, thecandidate’s secondary responsibilities will include supporting theadvising and administrative functions of the WSU Phoenix (gradeforgiveness) program for all participating schools, colleges, andunits. The Academic Advisor I/II will report to the Senior Directorof University Advising.
