Brigham Young University (BYU) Marriott Advisement Center seeks an Academic Advisor to guide a diverse caseload of approximately 800 students toward academic success, graduation, and career goals. You will partner with faculty and offices to provide proactive support, evaluate plans, and assist with policies and petitions.
You will recommend pathways, maintain confidentiality, and ensure timely actions, contributing to a positive student experience and ongoing Advisement Center initiatives.

As an Academic Advisor in the BYU Marriott Advisement Center, you'll help students navigate everything from choosing the right courses to reaching the finish line of graduation. You'll work closely with students, faculty, and administration to remove roadblocks, create opportunities, and help students make the most of their time at BYU. Most importantly, you'll help prepare the next generation of capable, confident, and Christlike leaders.

Pay Grade: 52
Typical Starting Pay: $65,500.00 to $84,500.00 annually
