The Office of Enrollment Management includes the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Military-Affiliated Services, and the Enrollment Services Center. These offices work collaboratively to support the University’s goal to attract, retain, and graduate a diverse, high-achieving student body. The Office of Enrollment Management focuses primarily on fostering student success by providing services that will support students throughout each step of their academic journey, from application to internships to graduation. The unit advances Fayetteville State University’s mission by fostering academic achievement, persistence, and graduation through a coordinated network of programs and services that empower students to thrive from enrollment through degree completion. It includes multiple areas that collaborate to provide proactive, student-centered support in areas such as academic advising, retention initiatives, degree planning, academic coaching, and resource navigation. Collectively, these efforts are designed to remove barriers to success, enhance student engagement, and promote continuous progress toward graduation.
The Academic Advisor position will provide support to students with unique challenges mitigating their academic and personal success. The manager will identify policies and procedures that are barriers to academic success and assist in creating and applying action plans for overcoming challenges. This position requires a collaborative, student-centered professional who is committed to fostering academic excellence, improving retention and graduation outcomes, and ensuring students receive comprehensive support throughout their collegiate experience.
