You will create social media posts, newsletters, and flyers, assist with data entry and marketing tasks, and staff information tables in campus locations. Some evening and weekend hours may be required to meet student needs.

Responsibilities

  • Help plan, organize, promote, and implement Academic Advising & Support programs, events, workshops, and trainings.

  • Navigate360 marketing, data entry, special projects, bulletin boards, and other space needs.
  • Able to work shifts and run information tables in the Academic Advising & Support office, Campus Center, and academic buildings.
  • Able to attend weekly Academic Advising & Support staff meetings as needed.
  • Able to work hours during the day, with occasional evenings and weekends, to assist with Academic Advising & Support needs.

Job Description:
  • Help plan, organize, promote, and implement Academic Advising & Support programs, events,workshops, and trainings.

  • Able to work shifts and run information tables in the Academic Advising & Support office, CampusCenter, and academic buildings.
  • Able to attend weekly Academic Advising & Support staff meetings as needed.
  • Able to work hours during the day, with occasional evenings and weekends, to assist with AcademicAdvising & Support needs.

  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to protecting the privacy of student information and other sensitive information adhering to FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act).
  • Proficient at or willing to learn Microsoft Office Programs, social media platforms, and Canva.
  • Works well both in a team environment and as an individual.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral communication skills).
  • Willing to learn how to create programming and educational resources that best fit student needs.
