Job summary

Methodist Home for Children in North Carolina operates the Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center, serving youth ages 10–17 in a structured setting. As a Youth Care Staff member, you’ll be the heart of the program, engaging youth in daily routines, supporting assessment activities, and modeling positive behavior to help youth grow toward stability.

The role requires at least 21 years old, a high school diploma or GED, a valid NC driver’s license, and flexibility to work 12-hour shifts.

Our Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center, operated in partnership with the NC Department of Public Safety, serves youth ages 10–17 who need a safe, structured environment and a chance to reset.

What You’ll Do:

As a Youth Care Staff member, you’ll be the heart of our program, engaging youth in daily routines, supporting assessment activities, and modeling positive behavior. You’ll help create a safe, encouraging space where youth can learn and thrive.

Requirements:

Pay: $15+ per hour, based on education and experience
