Methodist Home for Children in Franklin, NC is seeking a Youth Care Worker to provide structure, guidance, and support for adolescents in our multipurpose home. This role focuses on building life skills, maintaining a safe environment, and working closely with a dedicated team to help youth find direction in the local community.

The position is full-time with the potential for extended shifts; weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with youth in coaching, mentoring, community programs, or similar roles.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

• Maintain a safe environment: Supervise activities, keep the home organized, and help create a calm, respectful atmosphere.

• Lead by example: Show young people what responsibility, respect, and good decision-making look like in real life.

What We're Looking For

• Age 21+

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with youth (coaching, mentoring, community programs, or similar roles all count)

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record

• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts when needed
