Job summary

Bentley Legacy is seeking a courteous Banquet Server to assist with setup and service for banquet events in Bozeman, MT. The candidate will read banquet orders, maintain sanitation standards, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the function.

Ideal applicants are available for evenings and weekends, possess a High School diploma or equivalent, and have some experience in food and beverage service. Both full- and part-time positions are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hotel/food service experience a plus.
• Liquor, wine and food service training a plus.
• Evening/weekend/holiday availability required.

• Able to stand/walk for entire shift; lift 25–30 pounds.

A Banquet Server is responsible for the set up and the service of all assigned banquet functions.

• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.
• Know how to read the Banquet Event Order and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
• Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of service bar, stations and service areas.
• Accommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives.
• Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Clear, clean and reset tables as needed.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS.
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service a PLUS
• Must be willing and have the ability to work evenings that may include weekends and holidays
• Full- and part-time positions available.
• Willing and able to stand/walk for entire shift if needed
• Ability to bend, lift, carry and move 25-30 pounds
