• Official transcripts or diploma must be provided within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Protect children and vulnerable adults by assessing abuse allegations.
• Determine if criteria meet investigation or referral to an agency.
• Research information systems to determine prior history for safety risk assessment.
• Assign cases to county units or law enforcement for investigation.
• Enter reports in the information system and screened calls in the database.
• Provide guidance and referrals to persons in crisis.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff and partners in both public and private sectors.
• Perform related tasks as required.
