Job summary

Lockton is seeking an IAS Associate Consultant to deliver technical and operational support within the Integrated Absence Solutions Practice in Plano, TX. You will assist in analyzing client needs, guide on FMLA/ADA, and help implement absence programs with cross-team collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of absence management experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with HRIS and MS Office. US work authorization is required. This role is on-site in Plano.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years of experience in absence management, benefits administration, or HR.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing client needs and recommending tailored absence management solutions.
• Provide guidance to clients on federal, state, and local leave regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws.
• Support clients with program implementation, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage day-to-day administration of absence programs, including leave tracking and compliance oversight.
• Help ensure that all documentation, processes, and communications are accurate and compliant with legal requirements.
• Assist in creating workflows, policies, and procedures for absence management programs.
• Gather and analyze absence program data to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and client use, delivering actionable insights.
• Stay informed about updates to absence-related regulations and communicate changes to clients as needed.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for program implementation and administration.
• Work closely with senior consultants, project managers, and operational teams to deliver high-quality absence solutions.
• Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to absence program administration.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of absence program delivery.
• Provide input into the development of tools and resources to improve client experiences.
