Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS or absence management systems (Workday, ADP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing client needs and recommending tailored absence management solutions.
• Provide guidance to clients on federal, state, and local leave regulations including FMLA and ADA.
• Support clients with program implementation and system integration.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage day-to-day administration of absence programs.
• Ensure documentation and communications are accurate and compliant with legal requirements.
• Create workflows, policies, and procedures for absence management programs.
• Gather and analyze absence program data to identify trends and improvements.
• Prepare reports and presentations with actionable insights for clients.
• Stay informed about changes to absence regulations and communicate updates to clients.
• Contribute to development of best practices for program implementation and administration.
• Work with senior consultants and project managers to deliver high-quality absence solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in analyzing client needs and recommending tailored absence management solutions.
• Provide guidance to clients on federal, state, and local leave regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws.
• Support clients with program implementation, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage the day-to-day administration of absence programs, including leave tracking and compliance oversight.
• Help ensure that all documentation, processes, and communications are accurate and compliant with legal requirements.
• Assist in creating workflows, policies, and procedures for absence management programs.
• Gather and analyze absence program data to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and client use, delivering actionable insights.
• Stay informed about updates to absence-related regulations and communicate changes to clients as needed.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for program implementation and administration.
• Work closely with senior consultants, project managers, and operational teams to deliver high-quality absence solutions.
• Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to absence program administration.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of absence program delivery.
• Provide input into the development of tools and resources to improve client experiences.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1-3 years of experience in absence management, benefits administration, or human resources.

Basic understanding of federal, state, and local leave regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA).

Ability to review complex renewals for areas of opportunity, ability to lead renewal negotiations with carrier with oversight

Can conduct alternative design analysis for self-funded disability, leave plans, and paid time off programs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with HRIS or absence management systems (e.g., Workday, ADP).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
