Job summary

Republic Finance, LLC is seeking an entry-level Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) to grow with a fast-paced financial services team in Columbia, SC. You will begin an 18–24 month on-the-job paid training program to learn branch operations and management, then advance to your own branch.

Relocation is available when promoted to Branch Manager, and you will help customers meet financial goals through loan origination, credit guidance, and product recommendations. A clear career path awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1 year or more of customer facing sales experience preferred.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to relocate for promotion; relocation package provided for moves over 50 miles.

Responsibilities

• Help customers meet financial goals by originating new loan business and understanding their needs.
• Educate customers on consumer lending services, credit improvement, and debt consolidation.
• Assist Branch Manager with recruiting, training, and developing plans to meet sales goals while upholding company values and customer experience.
• Manage loan applications, perform risk analysis, and make credit decisions; oversee loan closings and insurance claims.
