Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking a Commercial Underwriter for ABL in Nashville. You will underwrite complex lending opportunities, assess asset quality, and provide credit expertise to relationships teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, monitor the portfolio, and ensure adherence to underwriting standards while supporting growth and risk management across the bank’s commercial lending portfolio.

Qualifications

5–7 years of progressive Asset Based Finance experience.
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements.
Identify and mitigate risks in lending to diverse businesses and collateral.
Comply with ONB lending policies, guidelines and standards.
Make sound independent decisions and communicate clearly to clients.
Active listening to identify issues and opportunities in real time.
Collaborative yet independent, with proficient financial projections and Excel.

Responsibilities

Underwrite complex ABL transactions in a fast, high-volume environment.
Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Treasury Management partners to structure loans.
Deliver credit expertise, assess risks, and provide win‑win solutions.
Monitor portfolio by reviewing reports, delinquencies, covenants and repayment performance.
