Job summary

Huntington Commercial Bank is seeking a Managing Director and Team Lead for Asset-Based Lending (ABL) Underwriting in the U.S. market.

You will lead a nationally based team responsible for structuring and due diligence of ABL facilities, driving high-quality credit recommendations and disciplined risk management. The role partners with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely execution, robust collateral and cash-management controls, and adherence to OCC guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• Advanced degree or CFA/FRM a plus.
• 10+ years in ABL underwriting; 2+ years leading underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Set team strategy and capacity plan; assign and review work, calibrate credit judgment.
• Lead underwriting of new money, amendments, and renewals across revolvers and term loans.
• Provide underwriting leadership on risk trends and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee collateral diligence, borrowing-base reporting, and appraisal inputs.
• Collaborate with Credit Policy, ERM, and Audit to close gaps.
