Job summary

Lighthouse is seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our team of professionals. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and other special needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

As you build a relationship with children and their families, your work will directly contribute to their growth, development, and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous ABA therapy experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under supervision by a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured setting.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship to support client independence.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress toward treatment goals.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to adjust plans.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals, progress, and generalization strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and data.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development in ABA therapy.
