Job summary

Acorn Health is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver one-to-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. You will help children with autism build essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors in center, home, or school settings.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience with children, a valid driver’s license, and are comfortable working in a team. We offer training, competitive pay starting at $20/hour, beneficial coverage, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license
• 1–2 years experience working with children
• Pursuing or obtained Bachelor’s degree in psychology/related field

Responsibilities

• Complete training to provide therapy (state requirements vary)
• Deliver 1:1 ABA treatment to clients
• Work with supervising BCBA and team to ensure quality service
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by BCBA
• Collect data and document client records to monitor progress
• Communicate with parents and supervisors to improve treatment plans
• Provide services at center, home, school, or other locations as indicated
