Job summary

Acorn Health is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician to deliver high-quality, intensive ABA therapy under the supervision of BCBA clinicians and to implement each client’s individualized treatment plan. You will work 1:1 with children, collect data, and collaborate with families across center, home, or school settings.

A background in psychology or related field is preferred; must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience working with children highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Should enjoy working on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with others.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Deliver ABA interventions to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBA and team to ensure quality service.
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect data and document client progress for treatment decisions.
• Communicate with parents and supervisors to inform plans.
• Provide services in center, home, school, or other locations as indicated.
• Schedule may include driving between clients.
