Job summary

Acorn Health is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians (BTs) to support children on the autism spectrum with high-quality, one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. Responsibilities include data collection, parent training, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between client locations are required. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with pay increases after certification, plus benefits such as PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience working with children highly preferred (caregiver, paraprofessional, daycare, etc!)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to clients under supervision of BCBA
• Complete training to provide therapy (state requirements vary)
• Collect data and document client progress to guide treatment decisions
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA
• Communicate with families and staff to inform treatment plans
• Provide services in center, home, school, or other clinically indicated locations
