Job summary

Acorn Health is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver high‑quality ABA interventions under supervision. You will work directly with children on the autism spectrum, providing 1:1 services across center, home, or school settings, under BCBA guidance.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team. Paid training and ongoing development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience working with children preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Enjoy working on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with others.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients under supervision of BCBA.
• Work with supervising BCBA and team to ensure high-quality service.
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect data and document client records to monitor progress and guide treatment decisions.
• Communicate with parents and supervisors to inform and improve plans.
• Provide services in center, home, school, or other locations as clinically indicated.
• Schedule may include driving between clients.
