Job summary

Autism Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our CT centers (Danbury, Trumbull, Waterbury). You will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, under supervision of a Clinical Manager/BCBA, using DTT and other ABA strategies.

ABH provides paid RBT training and certification; you must obtain RBT before working independently. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to stay calm and professional in challenging

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; RBT certification preferred (paid training available).
• Must obtain RBT certification before working independently with clients.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism.
• Comfortable working with diverse populations across various settings.
• Able to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Implement treatment plans developed by the Clinical Manager/BCBA.
• Use ABA techniques such as behavior management, discrete trial training (DTT), and social skills development.
• Collect and record accurate data during each session.
• Follow all clinical guidelines and support the client's progress towards goals.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Clinical Manager.
