Job summary

Autism Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder across Connecticut centers and home settings.

You will implement treatment plans, collect accurate data, and support clients toward their goals while collaborating with the Clinical Manager/BCBA. Transportation to client locations is required, and RBT certification is preferred with paid training available.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, or related field.
• High school diploma required; RBT certification preferred (paid training available).
• Must obtain RBT certification before working independently with clients.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism.
• Comfortable working with diverse populations across various settings.
• Able to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Implement treatment plans developed by the Clinical Manager/BCBA
• Use ABA techniques such as behavior management, discrete trial training (DTT), and social skills development
• Collect and record accurate data during each session
• Follow all clinical guidelines and support the client's progress towards goals
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Clinical Manager
