Job summary

Autism Behavioral Health (ABH) is hiring a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder across CT settings. You will implement treatment plans and use ABA techniques under supervision, collecting data and ensuring progress toward goals.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, or related field.
• High school diploma required; RBT certification preferred (paid training available).
• Must obtain RBT certification before working independently with clients.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism.
• Comfortable working with diverse populations across various settings.
• Able to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Implement treatment plans developed by the Clinical Manager/BCBA.
• Use ABA techniques such as behavior management, DTT, and social skills development.
• Collect and record accurate data during each session.
• Follow all clinical guidelines and support the client's progress towards goals.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Clinical Manager.
