Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking dedicated ABA therapists to support students with autism in a Massachusetts school district. This full-time contract covers high school, middle school, and elementary openings with a focus on meaningful, data-driven interventions.

Candidates should hold BT certification or RBT with school-based ABA experience. Reliable transportation is required, and independence is essential since BCBA supervision is not available for RBTs.

Qualifications

• Strong experience and skillset in Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Certified as a Behavior Therapist (BT), with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) candidates also welcomed
• Prior school-based ABA experience is required
• Reliable transportation and an easy commute are essential
• Not open to paraprofessional roles; must be comfortable working independently, as district BCBA supervision is not available for RBTs

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based ABA interventions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to promote student success
• Conduct data collection and progress monitoring consistent with ethical ABA practice
• Support inclusive practices and positive behavioral supports within classroom settings
• Participate in Zoom interview as part of the selection process

Job description

Step into a meaningful role shaping the lives of students with autism by providing dedicated Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in a collaborative school environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers three immediate and upcoming positions to join supportive teams serving high school, middle school, and elementary students.

Open Positions:

• Immediate Opening (High School): Work within a small-group, substantially separate program supporting students with autism who do not present significant behavioral challenges. This assignment runs through early March.
• November 20th Start (Middle School): Provide ABA therapy in a substantially separate program for students with complex behavioral needs. Safety-care training preferred; candidates without this training will receive it. This is an 8-week assignment.
• November 20th Start (Elementary School): Support students with autism within the general education environment.
