Job summary

RCG Behavioral Health Network seeks ABA therapy professionals to support children and young adults across centers, homes, schools, and community settings in Virginia. Roles include direct therapy under a Behavior Analyst and caregiver training, with options for full-time or part-time evening schedules.

Responsibilities cover data recording, safety protocols, and collaboration with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree or coursework in psychology, education, social work, counseling, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with children or young adults in classroom, childcare, therapy, or individual support setting preferred.
• Active RBT credential welcomed but not required; if hired into RBT role, must have credential before serving.
• Willingness to complete required background screening, training, and competency requirements.
• Valid Virginia driver's license and clean driving record for client transportation.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions, accept feedback, maintain confidentiality, and build respectful professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct ABA therapy services and carrying out activities outlined in each client’s treatment plan.
• Using positive reinforcement and teaching replacement skills for challenging behaviors while protecting dignity.
• Supporting caregiver training under the direction of a Behavior Analyst.
• Recording behavioral data and completing session notes and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Following trained safety and crisis management procedures.
• Collaborating with families, supervisors, coworkers, and other professionals involved in a client’s care.
• Participating in regular supervision, training, and professional development.
• Helping transport clients in an RCG vehicle when required by the assigned program.
• For RBTs, maintaining an active credential and completing required supervision and tracking documentation.
