Job summary

RCG Behavioral Health Network is hiring for full- and part-time ABA therapy roles serving children and young adults with autism and related needs in Virginia. Staff work under a Behavior Analyst, delivering services in centers, homes, schools, or community settings based on assignment.

Roles welcome applicants with or without an active RBT credential. Benefits are outlined for those with credentials, and ongoing supervision and training are provided to support growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree or coursework in psychology, education, social work, counseling, sociology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children or young adults in a classroom, childcare, therapy, or individual support setting preferred.
• Active RBT credential welcomed but not required for all openings; if hired as an RBT, must have active credential.
• Willingness to complete required background screening, training, and competency requirements.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license and a clean driving record for client transportation.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions, maintain confidentiality, and build respectful professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA therapy services and carry out activities from each client’s treatment plan.
• Use positive reinforcement and teach replacement skills for challenging behaviors.
• Support caregiver training under supervision of a Behavior Analyst.
• Record behavioral data and complete session notes accurately and on time.
• Follow trained safety and crisis management procedures.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, coworkers, and other professionals.
• Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development.
• Assist transporting clients in an RCG vehicle when required.
