Job summary

RCG Behavioral Health Network in Arlington, VA seeks committed individuals to provide ABA therapy to children and young adults across centers, homes, schools, and community settings. You will follow individualized treatment plans under supervision and contribute to skill-building in communication, social, and daily living areas.

The role supports families, includes supervision/training opportunities, and accommodates both full-time and part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• 18 years old minimum with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree or coursework in psychology, education, social work, counseling, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children or young adults in classroom, childcare, therapy, or individual support setting preferred.
• Active RBT credential welcomed but not required; if hired into an RBT role, credential must be verified.
• Willingness to complete required background screening, training, and competency requirements.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license and a clean driving record for client transportation.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions, accept feedback, maintain confidentiality, and build respectful professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA therapy services and carry out activities outlined in each client’s treatment plan.
• Use positive reinforcement and teach replacement skills for challenging behaviors while protecting each client’s dignity.
• Support caregiver training under the direction of a Behavior Analyst.
• Record behavioral data and complete session notes and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow trained safety and crisis management procedures.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, coworkers, and other professionals involved in a client’s care.
• Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development.
• Help transport clients in an RCG vehicle when required by the assigned program.
• For RBTs, maintain an active credential and complete required supervision and tracking documentation.
