Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians in New Jersey to work with individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities. You will implement individualized ABA programs under BCBA supervision across homes, schools, and community settings.

You will collect data, teach essential life skills, and help clients progress toward their goals in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes, schools, or community settings.
• Commitment to ethics, client confidentiality, and a positive, inclusive environment.
• Compassionate, patient and dedicated to supporting individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques including DTT, naturalistic teaching, and behavior management.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools.
• Help clients acquire and practice functional skills across communication, socialization, self-care, and independence.
• Foster a supportive learning environment to promote engagement and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and adjust strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and team members about progress.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to grow ABA skills.
