Job summary

Uxbridge Public Schools is seeking an ABA Technician PK-3 to support students at Taft Elementary from preschool through third grade. The position runs 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, full-time, with benefits, and involves implementing ABA strategies under BCBA guidance and collaborating with special educators.

You will work one-on-one or in small groups, collect data toward IEP goals, and help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; higher degrees preferred.
  • RBT training and/or experience with ABA preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to collect data and use basic computer tools for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to students with autism and developmental disabilities from preschool to 3rd grade.
  • Implement ABA strategies under BCBAs and teachers.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to support instructional, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collect and record data toward IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to ensure consistent student support plans.
  • Prepare materials and activities for instruction and engagement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
