Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, seeks an ABA Special Instruction provider for its Early Intervention program in New York. You will assess progress, tailor ABA strategies, and coach families to promote skill development within daily routines.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, participate in IFSP and case conferences, and collaborate with therapists and educators to ensure consistent and evidence-based interventions for children in the EI program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's preferred.
• Certification or eligibility to provide Special Instruction through NY State EI.
• Special instruction services require NYSED teacher certifications (listed).
• BCBA or BCaBA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA Special Instruction to children in Early Intervention per IFSP.
• Assess child's progress and adjust intervention strategies.
• Use evidence-based ABA: reinforcement, prompting, NET, incidental teaching.
• Coach parents/caregivers during daily routines to promote skills.
• Participate in IFSP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences.
• Collaborate with EI team including therapists and educators.
