Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an ABA Specialist to provide Early Intervention services under the child’s IFSP in New York. You will assess progress, adjust strategies, and collaborate with the EI team to support skill development.

Qualifications include NYS EI certification, a Bachelor’s in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred), and BCBA/BCaBA preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits and ongoing CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field is required; Masters degree is preferred.
• Certification or eligibility to provide Special Instruction through the New York State Early Intervention Program.
• Special instruction services in the Early Intervention Program must be provided by qualified individuals with NYS EI certifications listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA Special Instruction to children in the Early Intervention Program per IFSP.
• Assess child's developmental progress and adjust intervention strategies.
• Use ABA principles: positive reinforcement, prompting/fading, task analysis, NET, incidental teaching.
• Coach parents and caregivers on skills during daily routines.
• Participate in IFSP, multidisciplinary, and case conferences; coordinate with therapy and education teams.
