Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, is seeking a dedicated ABA Special Instruction provider for the Early Intervention program in New York. You will deliver evidence-based ABA services under the child's IFSP and monitor progress with ongoing assessments, adjusting strategies as needed.

You will coach families, attend IFSP and team meetings, and work with a multidisciplinary EI team to coordinate care. A NYEI certification is required; BCBA/BCaBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood, Psychology, ABA, or related field.
• Certification or eligibility to provide Special Instruction through NYS EI program.
• NY State teacher certifications for EI must be held (e.g., Special Education, or related).
• BCBA or BCaBA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA Special Instruction to children in Early Intervention per IFSP.
• Assess developmental progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Apply ABA principles: reinforcement, prompting/fading, task analysis, NET, incidental teaching.
• Coach parents/caregivers to promote skill development in daily routines.
• Participate in IFSP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences.
• Collaborate with other EI team members, therapists, medical professionals, and educators.
