Job summary

Boston Public Schools seeks a Special Education ABA Teacher with an SEI Endorsement for a long-term substitute position that starts 10/19/2026 and ends 01/04/2027. This per diem substitute role begins at the per diem rate of pay and reports to the Principal/Head of School.

The ideal candidate will implement district goals, provide targeted instruction to students with moderate to severe cognitive delays, write IEP goals, and collaborate with colleagues to support inclusive, high-quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Massachusetts Teaching License for Moderate Disabilities required.
Must have current authorization to work in the United States.
Meet the Standards of Effective Teaching.
SEI Endorsement or ESL License preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement district goals and objectives in alignment with state frameworks.
Provide small-group instruction to students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
Write and implement IEP goals and provide progress reports.
Provide accommodations and assist with curriculum development as needed.
Collaborate with staff to support student needs for modification.
Assist students transitioning to adult living services where appropriate.
