Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Massachusetts Teaching License in Moderate Disabilities required.
• Must meet state and federal licensing requirements to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified.
• Authorized to work in the United States by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Implement district learning goals aligned with state frameworks and identify access points for portfolio development.
• Provide small-group instruction to students with moderate to severe cognitive delays to support general curriculum progress.
• Write and implement IEP goals and provide timely progress reports on student development.
• Provide accommodations for learning and testing; develop curriculum as needed and prepare student work for MCAS Alternative Assessment.
• Collaborate with school staff to respond to student needs for modification.
• Assist with transitions to adult living services where appropriate.
