Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges in Pomona, CA.

The role offers hourly pay between $22 and $26, with opportunities for Morning, Afternoon, and Evening hours, and a focus on high session utilization with makeup hours. College partnership and other Maxim benefits support career growth.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or minimum one year experience with children in roles like: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician; or must have RBT or BACB certificate.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social, communication, and behavioral skills.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
