Job summary

Empower Behavioral Health seeks a dedicated RBT Case Manager to work with children in a comprehensive ABA program in Harker Heights, TX. The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care and collaborative teamwork to support learners with developmental disabilities.

You will work with BCBA oversight, develop individualized programs, and contribute to treatment planning while engaging families to promote progress and stability within the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must have RBT certification.
• Master's degree completion anticipated within six months.
• Must be projected to complete BCBA fieldwork hours within six months of hire, up to 30 hours per week.
• Experience working with children ages 18 months to 12 years old.
• Willingness to be trained on the principles of ABA.
• Works cooperatively with other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Engage in BACB-approved, patient-related activities with BCBA oversight to develop clinical skills for the assigned cases.
• Assist the BCBA and lead caregiver training.
• Maintain professional boundaries with caregivers and communicate clearly with parents.
• Develop and write individualized skill acquisition programs linked to DSM.
• Write behavior intervention plans.
• Evaluate risk and crisis management.
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments and indirect assessments.
• Develop and write initial treatment plans and update them per guidelines.
• Conduct descriptive and functional analyses as part of functional assessment.
• Support staff trainings with presentations on research material.
• Provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis services as needed.
