Job summary

Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents is seeking a dedicated leader to direct the ABA-based Special Education and Student Services program for K-12+. You will oversee the ABA Specialists, develop data-based interventions, and collaborate with educators district-wide to advance high-quality behavior support across schools.

The role includes supervising staff, coordinating professional development, and ensuring compliance with policies and privacy standards while supporting families

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field required.
• BCBA certification required.
• Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst licensed in Massachusetts required.
• Minimum of two years' experience developing and supervising ABA interventions.
• Experience supervising direct service providers.
• Knowledge of Functional Behavior Assessments, data collection, and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor structured, data-based ABA interventions for students K-12+.
• Supervise ABA Specialists across schools and evaluate performance.
• Plan and deliver district-wide professional development for ABA supports.
• Review Annual Reviews and progress reports; tailor services accordingly.
• Analyze data and guide staff in curriculum modifications weekly.
• Collaborate with school leaders and clinical staff to ensure alignment across buildings.
• Disseminate family resources and insurance information related to ABA services.
• Respond promptly to behavioral crises and manage staffing as needed.
• Maintain privacy of student information per HIPAA.
