Job summary

Millis Public Schools seeks an ABA paraprofessional to support students’ academic, social/emotional, and behavioral needs. You will develop relationships and work with a team to assist students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom, implementing behavior plans and collecting progress data.

The role requires ABA training and experience with behavior plans; willingness to receive Safety Care crisis prevention training, and a commitment to inclusive education within Millis schools.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Evidence of ABA training required.
• Experience implementing behavior plans preferred.
• Willingness to be trained in Safety Care crisis prevention training.

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities in and out of the general education classroom.
• Implement behavior support plans.
• Assist in curriculum modifications and accommodations for student success.
• Collect data to monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff as part of a team.
