Leominster Public Schools seeks an ABA paraprofessional for Sky View Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year to assist students with instructional materials and develop skills as directed by the assigned teacher.

The role includes supporting classroom tasks, preparing materials, clerical duties, and using technology to enable remote learning while promoting positive behavior and protecting student confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Para Pro Test preferred.
• Ability to relate to and work with disabled children.
• Integrity and demonstrate good moral character.
• Interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with instructional and non-instructional tasks as assigned by the teacher.
• Assist the students with the preparation of all materials and books.
• Assist the teacher in related clerical work.
• Use computers and/or electronic equipment to fulfill job functions and support remote learning.
• Serve as a role model for students and staff in demonstrating positive attitudes, appropriate attire and grooming, and effective work ethic.
• Participate in appropriate workshop programs and attend any required meetings.
• Display ethical behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies associated with the school.
• Protect confidentiality of records, IEPs and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and use discretion in sharing such information within legal confines.
• Provide student support and management of classroom assessments and MCAS.

Leominster Public Schools is seeking an ABA paraprofessional to assist the students in the classroom with all instructional materials as determined by the assigned teacher and help the students with needs outside of the classroom but related to achieving needed skills and requirements for succeeding in school.

Full Time, School Year Position

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree or Passed the Para Pro Test preferred.
• Have ability to relate to and work with disabled children.
• Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative.
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direct supervision of the teacher, the ABA Paraprofessional shall:

• Assist the students with all instructional and non-instructional tasks as assigned by the teacher.
• Assist the students with the preparation of all materials and books.
• Assist the teacher in related clerical work.
