Job summary

Marblehead Public Schools is seeking an Elementary ABA Teacher for Glover School to provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to K–3 students with autism and developmental disabilities. The role uses ABA methodologies to promote academic, social, communication, and functional growth, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include direct ABA instruction, data collection, BIP implementation, and supporting inclusion in various school settings.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities (PreK–8) or Severe Disabilities or eligibility for licensure.
• Knowledge of ABA principles and experience working with students with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Master’s degree in Special Education preferred.
• Experience implementing ABA programs in a public-school setting.
• Familiarity with ABA data collection systems (ACE, data sheets, digital platforms).
• Experience supervising or training paraprofessionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA-based instruction using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement IEP-aligned instructional plans.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain data to monitor progress and adjust programming.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans with fidelity and consistency.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, special and general education teachers, and paraprofessionals.
• Provide coaching and feedback to paraprofessionals implementing ABA strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings.
• Maintain a structured, positive, and safe learning environment.
