Lexington Public Schools in Lexington, Massachusetts seeks an ABA Tech/ABA Tutor to support secondary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Reports to: Building Principal, Evaluation Team Supervisor and/or ABA Coordinator
Terms of Employment: Paraprofessional Staff (209 days) with benefits according to the LEA Unit C collective bargaining agreement.
Starting Date: Aug 31, 2026
Hours: 32-37.25 hours per week
Pay: $33.03-$36.46 per hour

This role involves working directly with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, implementing individualized academic and behavior programs using Applied Behavior Analysis principles, collecting and summarizing data to monitor progress, and developing programs for social skills and activities of daily living. Additional responsibilities include managing the personal safety needs of students such as escorts, toileting, and lunch supervision.
Sample Preschool Schedule: Monday–Thursday; 8:30am – 3:30pm; Friday: 8:30am – 3:00pm; Total: 32 hours/week.
Sample Elementary Schedule: Monday–Thursday; 8:15am – 3:45pm; Friday: 8:15am – 2:30pm; Total: 33.75 hours/week.
Sample Middle School Schedule: Monday–Tuesday; 7:30am – 4:30pm; Wednesday–Friday; 7:30am – 2:45pm; Total: 37.25 hours/week.
Sample High School Schedule: Monday–Friday; 7:45am – 3:15pm; Total: 35 hours/week.
Must be willing and able to physically manage students if needed. Frequently required to sit and talk or hear. Occasionally required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands or arms; and may need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close vision and ability to adjust focus.
