Qualifications

• Experience teaching and supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other complex needs.
• Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Ability to write goals and objectives, complete IEPs and progress reports, and run annual meetings.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts DESE special education laws and mandates.
• Ability to collaborate with a wide range of colleagues and communicate with families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and Universal Design for Learning.
• Ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications to the general education curriculum based on IEPs.
• Establish a safe, nurturing learning environment with positive behavior supports.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and caregivers to support student growth.
• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians and attend annual meetings.
