The ideal candidate holds Massachusetts Certification for Moderate/Intensive Special Needs, with experience in ABA, data collection, and classroom programs encompassing functional academics and life

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Certification as Teacher of School Age Children with Moderate and/or Intensive Special Needs.
• Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum.
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Experience leading an ABA-based classroom preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide team small group or individualized instruction according to IEP goals within mainstream or pullout settings.
• Modify and adapt curricula, materials, and environment to meet individual needs.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate with parents and staff.
• Act as Case Manager for designated students, preparing progress reports and IEPs.
• Attend designated school staff meetings.
• Submit budget requests and status reports as requested.
